Real-Time Bi-Directional Sync

Real-time bi-directional sync in CloudQix refers to continuously keeping data aligned between two or more systems as changes occur in either direction. Updates are propagated based on explicit rules and mappings, not periodic batch jobs. Each system remains a system of record for the data it owns. Sync behavior is deterministic, monitored, and auditable. 

In CloudQix, bi-directional sync means that changes in one system can trigger updates in another, and vice versa, using defined event triggers and workflows. Field-level mappings control how data moves between systems, including how conflicts are handled. Sync logic is explicit and does not rely on inference or probabilistic matching.

CloudQix processes updates as they occur, applies validation and transformation rules, and records each transaction.

CloudQix does not rely on scheduled polling or delayed batch exports to simulate real-time behavior. It does not automatically overwrite data without defined ownership or conflict rules. CloudQix does not infer matches between records or attempt to “guess” intent when data differs between systems.

All sync behavior must be explicitly configured and approved.

Teams operating across multiple systems often struggle with data drift, duplicate records, and delayed updates. In regulated environments, inconsistent data can lead to reporting errors and compliance risk. Real-time bi-directional sync reduces latency while preserving control.

This approach allows teams to maintain accuracy across systems without introducing opaque reconciliation logic or manual cleanup processes.

A customer record is updated in a CRM. The change triggers a workflow that validates required fields, maps the update to a billing system, and confirms the write. If the same record is later updated in the billing system, a corresponding workflow updates the CRM using the defined ownership rules. Each transaction is logged with timestamps and outcomes.

Real-time bi-directional sync builds on CloudQix’s event-driven workflows, connector framework, and orchestration engine. It integrates with validation rules, monitoring, and audit logs to ensure data consistency across systems.
